與長庚大學生醫所碩士班合上。生物統計學是從事生物醫學研究的一項重要工具。內容包括假設檢定, 變異數分析, 無母數分析，卡方檢定, 相關與線性模式,對數迴歸模式，存活分析與縱貫型資料分析等。電腦軟體(SAS or SPSS)的應用也是強調的重點之一。總之, 此課程不但重視理論面的概念, 同時也強調實際應用與操作，希望能達到學以致用的效果。

Statistics is commonly used in medical research.This course provides concepts and 

approaches from fundamental to advanced statistics applied to biological and medical research.

The applications of real data are focused. The main sections given in this 18-week course include fundamental statistics, general linear models, generalized linear models, 

survival analysis and longitudinal data analysis.
