03申請資格APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
國籍規定Nationality
依教育部《外國學生來臺就學辦法》辦理，須符合下列情形之一： Application eligibility shall follow the provisions on the Ministry of Education's Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan. You must meet one of the following criteria:
- 具外國國籍且未曾具有中華民國國籍；未曾以僑生身分在臺就學；未於申請入學當學年度經海外聯合招生委員會分發。 A person of foreign nationality who has never held R.O.C. nationality, has never undertaken studies in Taiwan as an overseas compatriot student, and has not been given a placement by the University Entrance Committee for Overseas Compatriot Students in the current academic year.
- 具外國國籍且最近連續居留海外六年以上；申請時兼具中華民國國籍者，應自始未曾在臺設有戶籍。 A person of foreign nationality who in the immediate past has resided overseas continuously for at least six (6) years. A person who also holds R.O.C. nationality at the time of application shall have never had household registration in Taiwan.
- 依教育合作協議，由外國政府、機構或學校遴薦來臺就學，自始未曾在臺設有戶籍，並經教育部核准者。 A foreign national selected by a foreign government, organization, or educational institution under an education cooperation agreement, who has never had household registration in Taiwan, may be exempted with MOE approval.
學歷規定Academic Credentials
教育部認可之國內外大學畢業，或合於《入學大學同等學力認定標準》之同等學力資格。 Graduation from a recognized domestic or overseas university, or equivalent academic qualifications under the MOE Standards for Recognition of Equivalent Educational Levels for University Admission.
持大陸地區學歷依《大陸地區學歷採認辦法》；持香港或澳門學歷依《香港澳門學歷檢覈及採認辦法》；其他國外地區學歷依《大學辦理國外學歷採認辦法》辦理。 Credentials from Mainland China, Hong Kong/Macao, and other overseas areas shall be handled in accordance with the respective MOE regulations on the assessment and recognition of academic credentials.

其他限制Other Restrictions
- 外國學生申請來臺就學，以一次為限（符合簡章規定之情形者不在此限）。An international student applying to study in Taiwan may only apply once (except under the circumstances specified in the prospectus).
- 曾因學校操行、學業成績不及格或因犯刑事案件經判刑確定致遭退學者，不得申請入學。Those who have been expelled as a result of unsatisfactory conduct, poor academic performance, or a criminal conviction are not permitted to apply.

本校外國學生招生以書面審查為主。申請秋季班者，第一梯次應於 2026 年 11 月 30 日前、第二梯次應於 2027 年 4 月 30 日前完成線上申請，逾期恕不受理。

英文能力免附條件Exemption
符合下列條件之一者，可提供相關證明，不須再繳交語言測驗證明： Applicants are exempt from submitting proof of English proficiency if they meet either of the following conditions:

本所採書面資料審查，審查內容包括最高學歷及學業成績、學習研究計畫書、自傳、研究或實務經驗，以及其他有利審查資料。本所必要時得安排面試；海外申請人得視情況採視訊方式辦理，相關時間及方式由本所另行通知。 Applications are assessed through document review, covering the highest educational degree and academic performance, the study and research plan, the personal statement, research or practical experience, and other supporting materials. The Institute may arrange an interview where necessary; for overseas applicants, interviews may be conducted online. The Institute will announce the schedule and format separately.

國際事務處就申請表件完整性進行初審，合格者彙送本所複審；複審通過名單最終經本校招生委員會確認後正式公告。 The Office of International Affairs conducts a preliminary review of the completeness of application forms, and those that pass the review are forwarded to the Institute for further review. The final admission list must be verified by the Admissions Committee before it is publicly announced.

報到及註冊入學Registration & Enrollment
錄取生應依錄取通知單之規定日期到校辦理報到註冊手續，並繳驗下列文件： Admitted students should register and enroll at CGUST on the date specified in their acceptance notification and submit the following documents:
- 畢業證書正本：須經我國駐外機構驗證蓋章。Original diploma: must be authenticated and stamped by R.O.C. overseas representative offices.
- 英文歷年成績單正本：中、英文以外之證書，應另附經公證之中文或英文譯本。Original full academic transcripts in English: certificates in languages other than Chinese or English should be accompanied by a notarized translation.

- 保險證明：依教育部規定，新生應檢附已於國外投保自入境當日起六個月以上效期之醫療及傷害保險；未提供者將由本校統一投保，費用由學生自行負擔。Proof of insurance: medical and injury insurance purchased abroad with a validity period of more than six (6) months from the date of entry. 退費標準Refund Standards
依教育部相關規定，並依學生實際辦理休學或退學之時間而定：
- 於註冊日前（含當日）申請：無需繳費，若已繳費將全額退還。Apply before the registration date (inclusive): no fees required; if already paid, a full refund will be issued.
- 於註冊日次日起至開學日前一日申請：學費退還 2/3、雜費全部退還。From the day after the registration date to the day before the start of the semester: two-thirds of the tuition refunded, miscellaneous fees refunded in full.
- 於學期開始後至第 6 週內申請：退還已繳學雜費 2/3。Within the first six (6) weeks of the semester: approximately two-thirds of the tuition and miscellaneous fees refunded.
- 於學期開始第 7 週至第 12 週內申請：退還已繳學雜費 1/3。Between the 7th and 12th weeks: approximately one-third of the tuition and miscellaneous fees refunded.
- 於第 13 週（含）以後申請：不予退費。After the 13th week (inclusive): no refunds will be given.
其他費用Other Expenses
- 住宿費：新生床位由學校統一安排，皆安排一般房型（4 人房）；每學期收費依學校公告為主。Housing fee: bed allocations for new students will be arranged by CGUST, and all students will be assigned to standard rooms (4-person rooms). Fees per semester are subject to CGUST's announcement.
- 保險費：每位學生每學年皆須繳交學生平安保險費（實際依當學年合約訂定）。來臺未滿六個月之外國學生須投保團體傷病醫療保險（3,000 元／6 個月）；來臺住滿六個月者須投保全民健康保險（826 元／月）。Insurance premiums: each student must pay a student accident insurance premium each academic year. International students in Taiwan for less than six (6) months must take out group medical insurance for injuries and illnesses (NT$3,000/6 months); those who have lived in Taiwan for six (6) months or more must enroll in the National Health Insurance (NT$826/month).
獎助學金Scholarships and Grants
依本校「碩士班僑生及外國學生獎助學金實施辦法」，碩士學生免除學費、雜費、校內住宿費，另提供生活助學金每月新臺幣 10,000 元。 In accordance with the University's "Implementation Regulations for Scholarships and Stipends for Overseas Compatriot and Foreign Master Students," tuition, miscellaneous fees, and on-campus accommodation fees are waived, and a monthly living stipend of NT$10,000 is provided.
- 臺灣獎助學金：相關資訊及規定請參閱臺灣獎學金及華語文獎學金計畫網站。Taiwan Fellowship: please refer to the Taiwan Fellowship and Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program websites.
